About Me
Hi, I’m Terri Clark — a content strategist, systems integrator, and technical communicator who makes complex stuff make sense.
I’ve spent over a decade helping engineering teams, repair divisions, and marketing departments work smarter by building better tools, writing clearer content, and connecting the dots between people and platforms. I’m a systems thinker with a practical streak — equally at home configuring a CRM workflow, mapping an API, or turning messy, abstract requirements into intuitive, usable systems.
I work remotely from Cassopolis, Michigan, and I care deeply about sustainability, accessibility, and using technology to make life more manageable — not more complicated.
How I Work
- I think in outlines, flows, and mental models, and create them when they’re missing.
- I thrive in async, cross-functional teams where self-direction and critical thinking are valued.
- I adapt voice, tone, and depth to suit developers, end-users, executives, and everyone in between.
Where I'm Focused Now
I’m building a new branch of my portfolio around AI-integrated tools, symbolic architecture, and technical writing for emerging technologies. My value isn’t just in writing, it’s in what happens before and after the words:
- Before: Framing problems, defining use cases, and creating the communication architecture AI can work within.
- After: Refining, contextualizing, and validating — so the final output is accurate, helpful, and unmistakably human.
I understand how to work with AI tools like ChatGPT, Postman, and GitHub Copilot, but I also know that good documentation isn’t about the tools, it’s about decisions: What to say, what to skip, and how to make the complex feel effortless.
The Bottom Line
I’m doing what AI can’t yet do — designing systems of meaning, guiding communication with intent, and helping teams think clearly about what they’re building and for whom. If you need someone who can bridge tech and humanity, orchestrate AI, and bring order to the chaos of development and communication, let's talk.
AI writes text. I write understanding.

What I Believe
- Clear is kind. Good documentation and intuitive workflows reduce stress, prevent errors, and help people do their best work.
- Right tool, right job. Whether it’s custom code, a low-code platform, or just a better process, I choose what fits — not what’s trending.
- The devil’s in the details — and that’s where I work. I believe small things make a big difference, and I take the time to get them right.
- Systems shape experience. A broken form or a missing instruction isn’t minor — it’s a pain point. I fix those so people can focus on what matters.
- Sustainability matters. In tools, in teams, and in life. I design systems that last, support growth, and don’t burn people out.
- Collaboration beats perfection. Good work gets done by talking things through, learning as you go, and staying flexible enough to improve over time.
